[ASK] Yaris 2010 Head Unit

hi, can someone help me with the head unit of my yaris?

Here is the picture:

I'm having trouble with the ipod, bluetooth and cdc. When i insert my iphone to the usb it does not detect the ipod and for the bluetooth my iphone detects it as a car kit and when i want to pair with the bluetooth i have to set a password in my iphone after that it failed to connect. And there's a CDC menu which i don't know what it is.

Does anyone know what is the problem? Thanks.

Your Ipod might need a firmware update from Itunes. I had to do this on my 1G Ipod to make it work on my Pioneer AVIC UB310. If your Ipod is already updated with the latest firmware from Itunes, then maybe your unit itself needs a firmware update. This may solve your bluetooth issue as well.

Most head units update the firmware by downloading the update and burning it to a CD which you run in the HU's player. It gets the data off that. Best to consult MFG website.
