Hitch install require body cutting??

I am looking to install a hitch, either Curt or Hidden to tow a Little Guy, My Pod camping trailer (650 Lbs dry weight, 70 Lbs tongue weight). Do either of those require to cut the body to fit? Which is the better hitch the Curt of Hidden? I'd rather the hitch be as hidden as possible and to not cut body pieces to fit. The lady at the trailer place told me that in order to put a hitch on the back they had to cut bumper no matter which hitch I used. Is this true? I thought the Hidden hitch fits underneath the bumper?? Please help, I need to pick up my trailer next week and need something installed soon!

go to etrailer.com and check out their options. They usually have lots of pics/videos to help make your choice.
Cheers.

Trailer hitch

I too don't want to cut bumper cover, but one strong custom hitch might go through within the plate area, with, obviously, a plate relocation...most likely to the lower hatch.

I installed a Draw-Tite hitch on my 2012 Yaris with no issues, cutting, etc. When I first started the installation I thought no way but that proved to be unfounded. You may have to bend a little plastic but that is no issue, it just pops back. I also used the Hopkins kit #41844 for the trailer lights. Again no issue. No splicing of any of the wiring. I did deviate from their instructions a bit by getting the 12v power for the converter(or whatever you call it) from the 12v outlet (used to be for the cigarette lighter LOL) I just made up a new end for that wire. Works like a champ except sometimes I forget to plug it in (on dash) before I take off. Hope this made sense. If it's a pre 2012 Yaris, you have to do wire splicing though.

I ordered the Curt #11050. It seemed to be alittle sturdier as using 3 bolts per side instead of the Draw-Tite 2 bolts. Assuming either should work fine, but the Curt inspired more confidence in me.
