2009 Yaris Sedan Back flooding

We're finally over the drought here in Nor Cal but my car is now flooding. Here's a video https://youtu.be/cQrvayuAr8g

I did have water in the well beneath the spare tire. My front floors are wet too but that may have been from the pooled up water rushing under the seat going downhill. I'm not sure. I ran water over my trunk area and can't detect any leaks there or on my door sealing. Any ideas? I've already got mold growing up front that I can see.

My Yaris hasn't leaked yet, knock on wood, but my 03 Echo leaked around the tail lights. I put my grandson in trunk with flash light and gave it a good hosing to find leaks. We replaced foam gaskets under lights and it still leaked, so we removed lights and a bead of silicone on gaskets and it still leaked, but very slight leak. Was never able to completely stop it, some rains it will leak a little some rains it doesn't. Good luck, hope you have better success than I did in sealing it up.

I do have comprehensive coverage with Geico, but would a "leak" classify? The thing is, it wasn't like I slowly saw it build up. One day I hit the brakes and Niagara Falls erupted from my back seat. The car wasn't ever submerged in water though, so not sure they would pay. It has over 120k miles and hasn't ever had any problems, and it still runs like a charm, just a wet and moldy one.

I'll have to have someone small climb in the trunk and try the hose down of the tail lights.

You need to get the inside dry and then get a water hose and go over the car section by section and check for leaks. If the truck has water in it pull out the carpet and spare, then get rid of the water with a shop vac or by pulling out the drain plugs. Then hose down the trunk and check for leaks around the taillights, the trunk lid seal and the rear window seal. For the interior if you have mold you need to pull the carpet up, pull the drain plugs or vacuum out the water and then see where it's coming from. Common leak points are the door and windshield seals, leaking AC drain line, leaking heater core, and clogged body drain lines.
