WOW! The Egg has proved itself once again

Hi Everyone

I'm new to the Yaris scene/forum and am quickly becoming a believer. I was skeptical at first when I first bought it but man was I in for a pleasant surprise.

I'm sure everyone that has one already knows this but the great gas mileage, surprisingly spacious interior, parkability (made that one up), fun factor, has all added up to put a smile on my face and NOW incredible winter driving.

I see way more expensive, bulkier cars even SUVs struggling in the recent snow storm we just had on the east coast, getting stuck all over the place spinning tires and such. All I had to do today was dig it out and drove right out, even over half a foot of snow with stock ALL SEASON Tires and didn't get stuck once!

I am truly utterly amazed by this because I come from a long line of subarus and never thought a FWD car would be half as capable but i've just eaten my own words. Anyways I can honestly say now that I love my yaris and it'll be a keeper.

Thanks for listening to my rant and happy holidays to all!

Yes, welcome. They do even better with snow tires, but I didn't have them the first 3 winters with a Yaris and never really missed them. But it IS more fun to play WITH them.

Yep, pretty sweet. I never dreamed I'd be as thrilled with an economy car! Wouldn't trade it for anything!

If you sound proof it it and put clazzio leather seats in it, it feels much like a considerably more expensive car.

The Yaris is ok for a snow car. I have had better and worse.
