Wheel Discounters

Had to share this with all of you... although I'm sure some of you have stumbled across them already.

http://stores.ebay.com/Wheel-Discounters

Great e-bay power seller with a 100% positive rating after more than 4,000 sales. Obviously this isn't one of those sellers you have to worry about... they're legit. Prices are INSANE. 15" rims from $350 SHIPPED, 16" rims from $379 SHIPPED, 17" from $470 SHIPPED... I will definitely be buying my rims from these guys come spring. They have a lot of 4x100 rims, most with +42 offset. Check 'em out!

thats super for those living in the US but I think they either dont ship to canada or the shipping is insane.

for folks in Canada who want decent prices on wheel / tires

http://www.wheelsnext.com/

They treat Canada as domestic shipping and prices are no different. Click the about us section and it goes into further detail.

If they did, they probably wouldn't be cheap. Motegis aren't bad though.

I've come to decide on the Motegi MR7's in gunmetal.

gunmetalmr73lg.jpg

16x7's should perform a little better without making this car lose its daily driver status. We have some wretched roads around here so I wouldn't even risk 17's. I think they'll look sweet with the meteorite metallic paint. $450 shipped. Can't beat that.

What do these rims weigh? For that price I assume they are pretty heavy....and would decrease the already slow acceleration and decrease gas mileage.

Really?

Yes, obviously 14" steelies will improve gas mileage. Maybe I could even part out a razor scooter and get 60 miles to the gallon on some plastic 4 inchers!

Seriously though, screw perfomance. This car will never do a 12 second quarter mile with my bank account, so I'm gonna make it look pretty and give it a little umph for when I'm driving angry.
