Hi all, I've been reading posts for several weeks now and decided I'd join in the fun. I have an order in for a flint mica sedan (not the S), power package that should be here in a week or 2. I'm coming from the Scion tC (which I love) but the Yaris seems like it's going to save me some cash. This forum is extremely helpful for prospective Yaris owners. :)

I'm glad to hear that! I've only ever seen (in person) a black liftback and a silver sedan, but the FM seemed like a nice color. I also ordered the bisque interior...does anyone here have that?

Congratz. So you're from Timmins? My mom was born there. Grandfather worked in the mines.

Welcome! I have been in Timmins, and South Porcupine too. Just a very brief stay many years ago. Nice places to drive your Yaris? Enjoy!

Welcome TrancosRT! When you have your Yaris, please compare it with your current car - the Prizm, which I know is a Corolla under a GM Brand name. I hope to see your findings.

I Sure will... I already know it's a lil bit like night and day. Test drove the Sedan Auto and a HB stick and both drove far better than the Prizm. The steering was far more responsive and I liked the driving position better, besides being more silent!

I finally got my Blazing Blue Yaris yesterday. I love it. It was deffinately the best buy I could have made. I love the little hidden features like the storage bins next to the spare tire...the extra compartment above the steering wheel...and so on. This car never ceases to amaze me the more i look at it.

Sounds good. Remember you'll be in the break in period. So just don't drive it too hard at first.
