Quick Exhaust question...

I have a pair of these that I'm not using anymore...

Graves

And I was wondering if it is possible to hack and weld them onto my existing muffler pipe (from the connection next to the axle), creating a dual, axle back exhaust with them. Basically just for looks, but I was wondering if replacing my stock muffler with these two will do anything bad to the car.
I have taken them apart before and they're basically just a straight pipe with baffle packing around them. Any ideas?

I say go for it! -- might be a little "buzzy" sounding, though.

I say go for it. I've always liked the idea of having a motorcycle exhaust on the Yaris. The Yaris' motor is pretty close to a motorcycle engine, after all

Cool I was thinking the same thing. It's about the same size as a Suzuki Hayabusa engine (1300cc). But anyway the cans (carbon fiber part) are actually about 7 inches long because I cut about 4-5 inches off of them. The pipes you see in that picture are just held on by tension (really tight springs) So if I were to weld the pipes from the muffler right to the back of the cans they can fit into a really tight area. That's why these would be the ideal choice compared to some others. Well I'll try it out soon and see what happens. Pictures of a mock-up will follow of course :)

If you do end up putting them on they would make an awsome center exit exhaust

I don't think that's a bike muffler dude. It looks like a car muffler to me
And yes it may look cool in the center. The tips are angled so I can't use just one or I would, so I don't know how it will look. We'll see tomorrow :)

Here's some quick photoshop mockups. I don't have time to actually throw them on the car today, but these look pretty close enough to what it will look like...

Any ideas on which looks the best? My mind is aiming towards the mid-set ones...let me know what you guys think

I think I'm gearing towards the mid setup too. Looks like an R32 exhaust, or the Audi TT. I think they are too big for the center mount. You need small tips for that to look good (ie. Mini Cooper S)
