Question Did you order fog lamps?

Has anyone ordered their Yaris with fog lamps, and did your car come with them installed?

Australia have 3 different versions of the car...each with something different.

The standard features in all cars is: power windows and mirrors, aircon, cd player, abs, immobiliser and keyless entry.

The base model is only a 1.3L with nothing special just standard features, with 14" steel wheels.

Middle range is a 1.5L with the standard features including 15" steel wheels, leather bound steering wheel with audio controls and leather gear shift lever.

The top of the range model gets the sports body kit, front fog lamps, 15" alloy wheels, 6 disc changer, more pockets to hide stuff in and a different seat trim.

Although, fog lamps can be an option for the other models, you just gotta pay more for them, and it'll be a 'special' order - so no doubt, some wait time will apply . . .

My car (please see left) has standard fog lamps on it (front only). I tend to regard them as a form of safety enhancement. They will be useful when situations demand the use of them. I recommend that you get them. However, just like in the case of the high beam, drivers of the cars coming in the opposition direction may find them distracting. So, they need to be used with care and only when necessary.

Yeap, only when there's fog...

BTW. I hate when people drive with high beams and don't change to low when someone is driving their direction!!!
