I ordered a yaris lift back last week and my dealer tells me it may be 6 weeks. I don't mine waiting, but I want it to be reasonable. Whats the wait time for most of you?

Seems like a year

Ordered mine April 1st. I think that is 6 weeks so far. The dealer would not give a streight answer to how long it would take. Factory is in Japan, dealer doesn't have any idea.

i've always been wondering...
since we have to wait for so long...
and the factory is in japan with all the parts and options...
can we order something like canadian rs...(with tachometer)
or even... if we are willing to pay more, how about left hand drive jdm rs...?
(just love those jdm rs bumpers)
what? they can't even accidentally put a canadian model on the shipment to us...?

looks like from what i've been seeing, wait time is over a month, at the least. Unless your really really lucky. Although, production might start to pick up because of all the advertising going on now.

I test drove a sedan with a auto with 4 adults in it and it did very well. I like the feel and simplicity of the car. It was fun and easy to drive. I've been a toyota fan from the beginnig.

I have not seen a yaris on the road on the NC coast. Its easier to get a FJ. I see the TV spots but I don't see the cars at the dealers.

exactly 2 1/2 months. Got a white one (the color of my choice) so it took a little longer to get. But definitely worth the wait.

I rather lucked out. Last Saturday night, I saw where my dealer had a blue S. Test drove on Monday. Wanted a flint mica. Dealer was able to dealer exchange on Tuesday. Car was on lot on WED. And I pick up tomorrow (FRI).

Hate trading in my 2005 tC but will enjoy the four doors and 39MPG.

Not true. I wanted a 5DR stick in Bayou Blue. 'cause I was so specific I've been waiting since beginning of May. It's supposed to arrive at the dealership today (fingers crossed). If it comes in then it will still be within the 2-4 week time I was originally quoted.
