Which CAI and Exhaust should I purchase?

My wife is finally allowing me to purchase a CAI and Exhaust. So I was just wandering which CAI and Exhaust will deliver the most HP. I'm not concerned with sound or ease of installation, just performance. I just recently purchased my yaris so I'm not too familiar with whats available yet. The only intakes I know of are TRD, AEM and Fujita. I don't have a clue what exhausts are on the market. Any help is appreciated.

AEM made the intake for TRD. So if you want the same performance for considerably less money, go for AEM. I just put it on my car and it sounds great and the car pulls good. I also have the TRD ver. S exhaust and it's quiet at idle, throaty when you press on it, and that alone adds about 2hp. (And it keeps the warranty guys happy.) Whatever you choose will be a improvement over stock. Dragon also makes a short ram intake that a few members have tried and they like it. And if you can convince the wife, go for a NST crank pulley. Its the same diameter of the OEM pulley and frees up some power to the wheels. Good luck!

TRD Sparks has the TRD, There is C2autospl....and WeSellCarParts. I have the AEM and love it. Dont have to oil the filter, but it would be wise to clean it every so often.

Not true really. You get a longer warranty on your TRD part if it is installed by a dealer. You can install TRD parts and your warranty will be valid for your car and the TRD part.

the TRD intake is not warranted anyway, look at sparks fine print

I wouldn't spend the money on the TRD, I'm shopping around myself

You can always swap stock parts back on if you need to take the car in for service. The nice thing about the crank pulley is you can't really see it. They didn't notice when I took my car in for the TSB on the stinky cat.

Not alot. You get a cool sound though :) with the intake

http://youtube.com/watch?v=EcKo8g4e2...elated&search=

and yes it sounds just like that...

An axle back wont have much , but a full catback with bigger piping will, and I dont think anyone does a cat back yet. Here is a video of what the TRD sounds like. It's on Violins car, but the new and old TRD axlebacks sound like this. I have one myself. If you have any questions let me know. The install for the exhaust took me less then 30 minutes. Most of the exhausts out there are for the liftback so be careful when ordering one. TRD has one and I seen where Greddy is wanting to make one. I guess these guys just like lost revenue :)

Actually, the NEW TRD axle back sounds nothing like this. its about 5X louder and you can hear it ALL the time. with the origional TRD you could still hear the intake when accelerating hard, kind of balanced with the exhaust. with the new TRD you cant really hear the intake at all, ever.
