still, I dont really understand the part of ppl being depressed just cause they will never go to that planet...

live laugh share... there are plenty of ppl to do that on earth

Haha, is it horrible to admit I can kind of understand this? Not a deep suicidal depression though- those people seem to be going over the top and definitely had to have had issues before they saw the movie..

But there are a LOT of movies I've seen and wished that was my world, or I knew those people.. way too many to mention.

However the people with issues that dwell on it can't blame the movie, I'm sure they were depressed before they saw the movie too.
And I personally don't feel that way about Avatar..

I can understand experiencing some depression after seeing the movie because you realize the close correlation with the U.S.' treatment of American Indians, and other such atrocities throughout human history and up into the modern day, but not simply because you can't physically get to an imaginary world.
