Just did a fillup and my gas mileage fell by about 10% .. not sure if it is because the weather in the fall is well just a bit colder.

I did 588 km and 36.974 litres which is 6.3 L/100 KM, or about 37.33 US MPG.
So .. considerably less than my average . . but I am expecting a dip during the winter time but I wasn't expecting a drop already as the weather really hasn't cooled down that much so far. It is about -7 C today and no snow so far .. so not really winter conditions yet.

I'm at 200 miles on my 2012 Yaris L 5-speed manual. Tires are at 35. Averaging 36.7 right now with a highway/city mix. Haven't really went over 3k rpm yet. And that's using cheap Racetrac 87 octane. Temps outside are Louisiana =P

Just totally smashed the all time best stock intake manifold gas mileage record of 39.1 mpg...

...43.9 mpg.

Rural roads, stop and go city driving with no heavy traffic and no 5th gear freeway driving. Excellent driving conditions contributed heavily to the good gas mileage.

Car equipped with:

totally stock engine
tooter intake manifold
Simota short ram intake
Weapon R 4-2-1 header
Micro Image axle back center exit exhaust

Just did a partial fill up. Went 303 km and 22.619 litres. So that works out to 7.5 L/100 KM or 31.36 US MPG. It is about 9 MPG less than my average, but it was all winter driving and all in the city. Really I am not that surprised that it is way down.

Hope to get winter over with ... and get back to the great gas mileage in the summer.

Summer tires are good for 43.4 MPG, once switching to winter tires and doing the math (smaller tire) I'm getting 40.1 MPG (I'm getting new Tires next spring!)
