How long? Japan --> US

The dealer I ordered the liftback from is finally being a little more helpful. She said my special order is in the que to be made. The dealer said that won't take too long. I am from New England. Any idea on how long it will take to get to New Jersey (I believe that is where the shipment comes in for my region)...once it has made that is. I am really anxious to get it! Thanks.

You've got to be kidding! That's nuts! Was there something special about your's that took so long? I could almost build my own Yaris out of spare parts in 6 months.

You sure could for a $100,000 in bits and pieces. While working in the Toyota parts department on a slow day we priced out every single piece it would cost to build a Corolla. It was a fun activity for about 4 hrs and it totaled .......

wait for it - lol

$125,000

I was obviously being sarcastic. You'd think Toyota, having the assembly line, the tools, parts, and employees to assemble them, could turn out someone's order in way less than 6 months.
