I've squeezed it to 210kph/130mph on the speedometer, on 195/60-15's which are 5-10% larger than the stock tires so I was actually going about 135-140mph.

And before anyone claims the speed limiter would prevent that? One click on the e-brake so the light turns on on the dash shuts that off, but doesn't actually apply any braking. With the e-brake fully disengaged, yeah, the limiter kicks in harsh. One click up? Suddenly it's gone on my '07.
Thanks for the enticement, now I have to put that theory to the test.

Well, it shouldn't be too hard. Just pull the ABS fuse (disables traction control), jack the car up on its front wheels and slowly go up to the rev limit in 5th gear. :33

Fastest I've ever gone in any car was 165 MPH (115 over the limit) but those days are behind me.

Isn't florida state highways normal traffic speed around 90 mph i heard??
Florida highways can be fast, but then they can also literally stop on a dime, so you have to be really careful. I hit 100 once and was still being passed.

Aww, but Garm you are using your brains. Top speed has nothing to do with that type of reality.

I'd also unbolt the wheels.
