HELP!!! Transmission stuck to engine - Toyota Yaris Forums

Trying to do my clutch and have everything removed but the trans will not seperate from the engine. Removed all bolts for bellhousin and mounts. WTF?

Does anyone out there know what to do?

Wow. I have separated a few and they have never had an issue. Make sure that you did not miss one.

Could the alignment pins be that tight? I know they take some work with vice-grips to remove, but a few hits with a deadblow *NOT a metal* hammer should get them apart.

When we pulled my forst motor it was like an act of God. Dell and I fuct with it for what seemed like eternity. I know your pain.

Finally got it apart after much prying and hammering, damn dowel pins were seized like hell.
