Pic of Yaris 5-Spoke Alloys

Here is the promised picture of our LB with it's new wheels. The center caps are due in tomorrow.

The other two exterior mods also show: 1) Chrome Exhaust Tip and 2) Mud Flaps.

Did these come from the dealer? or did you purchase them seperately?

Riceboy: They were ordered from the dealer like 6 months after we took delivery of the car. To make a longer story short, my wife mentioned to our salesman my interest in getting the wheels, and he offered to get us Toyota Employees Pricing from parts dept. Couldn't refuse the big discount - took about 3 days to get the wheels - had local, well-known tire shop install them.

Our region only orders the power pkg. with steel wheels. Not sure if we would have saved anything if we had ordered them to be changed out at time of purchase. Very happy with the look.

eTiMaGo:
Yes, the look w/o centerpieces is not good - the dealer expects them to be in tomorrow.

it's funny though, those 5 spoke rims there are stock on all yarii here, so I was confused at first what the big fuss was

Those 6-spoke ones in IllusionX's post do look pretty sweet!

Those 6-spoke wheels on the RED Yaris are very nice.

My attempt was to make the car look cool, but for 60 yr olds, and to make it a lot easier to keep the wheels clean. Those steel rims and the standard hubcaps don't look bad, but are a bear to keep clean. My fingers are sore just thinking about it.

I also did not want to change the wheel/tire size - can screw up the gearing and also ride quality. In addition I am NOT fond of all the open space in the many of the wheels - those tiny brake drums showing through in the rear are a poor look IMO. Four wheel discs would be a different story.

And lastly, with none of those wheels being delivered here on the new Yarii, we should be different for a while!

I figure you could get aftermarket rims for about the same price. Plus I would want a different tire size and dealers price out the butt. So unless I am not paying for it I will never take a car to a dealer. Plus just because these guys work at a dealer dont mean they know what they are doing or give a care about ur car.
