Radio problem

So, my radio wont turn on anymore, no AUX or CD... I check the fuse for it, and it is not blown..

Does anyone know what i should do, to get it fixed, or just go to the dealership?

Try disconnecting the car battery, waiting 5 mins, then reconnecting the battery and trying the radio again.

If that does not work, go to dealer.

I don't know about US version.. but I have the same problem.. three times.
I go to dealer, got fixed, broke again, go to dealer again, got fixed again, and broken again.
That time I asked for replacement. No more problem since then.

Same thing happens to some of my friends with their Yaris. I think it's a bug..

Also I know you say you checked the fuse, sometimes it's really hard to tell if they are blown or not. Do grab another fuse from another spot that is the same amp (color) and put it in and see if it works.

You shouldn't let this go on for too long. Look at this persons Yaris!

They had an elecrical short.

Cheap 30$ Maylasian radio/Cd Aux-in. Now is a good time time to get something better for 150 bucks and better speakers too for 50 bucks ...

You can have my sisters radio for 100 bucks, works fine - she wants to upgrade by spending LESS

MadDog;
Do you know exactly what caused that short in that melted YAris in the pic?
Was it due to the radio? Also, is this a defect in the new Yaris series??

My first guess would be a popped fuse. Are there any other electrical components not working?

Well all my electrical components are working, and i made sure that they were.

I am chillen at the dealership right now waiting for them to finish it up. The battery thing didn't seem to work...

I hope this is nothing big.
