Great HDR´s very nice!

What camera do you use? You also use Photomatix?

Im starting to practice with HDR, but my pictures come out with a lot of noise. Maybe because my camera only makes Jpeg and not Raw?

Would it be possible for you to share some of the settings you used in one of your pictures?

Cheers

I have a fujifilm z10fd 7.2mp point n shoot (not exactly hardcore photographer)

I use photomatix and they usually come out fairly nice with minor tweakng here and there, the only time they come out bad is when its too bright out.

Ive found the best time to take them is roughly an hour before sunset or when its overcast etc.

so long as your using proper increments (-2 -1 0 +1 +2) or whatever it is for your camera then they should come out just fine.

If youd like I can save the settings i use for most of my pictures from photomatix and send you them, its a native photomatix file so you have the option to load pre-saved settings.

you can do that with a point n shoot?! They are lovely man...

I should be fine with my Panasonic Lumix Tz5 then...

For now I am only using one picture (Jpeg) and then I use photoshop to change the exposure levels (from -3 to +3). So im kinda cheating.

It you could send me the file with your settings it would be really nice. Just for me to see if I am doing something wrong with photomatix.

IŽll send you a PM with my MSN Adress.

Cheers

nice, now that prove you don't need dslr to take a great pic, it's all about the guy behind the camera, anyway are you using Photomatix Pro or the basic one? because i couldn't get it works good on the basic one. All my HDRs came out super bright and hardcore, not wet and smooth look like your.

i used pro 3, idk if the tone mapping abilities are drastically different or not in basic but if you can take a screen shot of your general setting then I can maybe assist.
