Angry dashboard protectant

ok...

I love my yaris.

But the dashboard is pissing me off!

I'll get it clean...and then it just seems to attract everything. The same material is on the doors...and it also seems to scratch really easily...and I'm only at 1000 miles!

It looks like it needs armor-all or something, but im afraid it would just sit there and be greasy instead of actually doing something.
Does anyone have a product that they use and have gotton a good result from? I'm looking for something that will clean and protect...

lemmie know*
Thanks!
xoxo,
StellarPrincess*

ive used armor all wipes (not the greatest product out there) which seems to work decent to clean and protect but the dash is usually covered with dust within a day or two. I just have a soft terry cloth to occasionally wipe it down with in the glove box.

There's not a lot to be done about dust other than dusting regularly. As for the scrating on the door panels, I noticed that, while they do LOOK scratched very easily, they're not really scratched. You can just rub it away with your hand.

Smile thanks*

Thank you guys...

I don't care so much about the dust...more like the smudges...and the fact that it seems to scratch easily and look dull.

I'll try that stuff...thank you so much!

Erm...

Dont use ArmourAll... they are no good... its not brand bashing but its the chemical they use that will crack the plastics over time...

Meguiars are alright... I use 303's they are not glossing so doesnt reflect any glare from the sun during the day and gives a nice classy matt finish...

not to start bashing brands either but Ive used armour-all for more than ten years with no ill effect EXCEPT yellowing on tires. Ill admit ive never used most of these new 'synthetics' or 'special formula' cleaners etc. Stuck with three brands, mothers, meguiars (except the liquid wax its crap) and armour all. Still swear by mothers.
