sloshing sound when starting up

Has anyone else noticed a sloshing sound, when you start up and first move the car?? im sure its the gas in the gas tank. but the only other car i heard with a sound like this is my del sol. the sound from the del sol was actually water in a in the rear window area.

any info if anyone else notices this or not thanks for the time !!!

Could it be from the A/C?
I've seen vehicles do that before.

Other things I could think of.....
Water in the spare tire well(which I doubt).
All insulation(sound deadning material) still in car?
Rear seat still in car?

Happens each and every time i drive my car from a stop (after it has been parked for a few hours).

It is probably fuel in the tank, sloshing around. The '12 is only 2300lbs., so some sound deadening (or lack there of) may be to blame.

A slight lapse in refinement to an otherwise refined subcompact.

I can hear the gas sloshing around in my 07 when I stop driving it. There was another post I saw on here some time ago that said that the Yaris gas tanks don't have baffles in them, that's why the gas sloshes around in them.

yea, thats the only thing i could think of is the fuel making the sound. not that big of problem. i was just wondering if anyone else has encountered this with their 2012 model.

nooooo it sounds like a liquid moving around right when i first start the car up, and put it into reverse or drive.. it makes the sound once and then i dont hear it anymore throughout my drive.

sorry i should have clarified that when i would reverse maybe 30 seconds after i start the car i would hear "something". I thought it was the brakes when i would apply pressure to the brakes.

I have heard a sloshing sound in some cars when the coolant is low or air is trapped in the system and it hits the heater core.
