Yaris 2012 Electric Power Steering Warning Symbols

Hii.. I have bought used Toyota Yaris 2012 Automatic 1.3 L Car in Jan 2015.
Recently, by mistake, Light was on while car had been switched off. Resulted in its battery discharge. When I tried to plug Key and start car. It was showing few symbols, which I later discovered for Electric Power Steering Warning Symbols. Somehow, I started my car using Jumper and battery from other car. I took to change my battery. I discussed the mechanic, they said, the warning light will go off.

Problem is that when I insert my key, then only it shows the Power Steering Warning symbols. When car is on, and is running, no more this warning symbol appears.

Please share your experience if you have come across similar issues.
