Thank you...is the engraving extra? Also...what feature is used to ensure that the knob lines up perfectly (in other words, the shift pattern is perfectly perpindicular to the shaft)?

We have not added the engraving option to the website yet, so to order you can send paypal payment to TWM with the following information so we can prepare your order.
-Shift knob model
-Finish of the shift knob
-Make and model of the car

Wow....looks like a lot of work. When the shift knob is installed completely...will you be able to see the jam nut underneath? I know you won't be able to see it while in the driving position but I am concerned about seeing it between the shift boot and the base of the shift ball (Yeah I am anal but If I am going to pay $115 for a shift knob...fit and finish are VERY important). Thanks!

Although it seems like a lot of steps to install a shift knob, it's really straight forward and it takes only a few minutes to install.

The jam nut is machined so it fits inside the shift knob once you tighten it down, you will not see the nut after the shift knob is installed.

Was worried about the length reduction, but I'm only 5'5" so I'm sure I'll have no problems!

This shift knob is a MUST for anybody with a short throw shifter. Not only is the quality astounding but the weight is mighty impressive. This weight allows much more smooth, guided shifting in comparison to the stock knob. The stock knob can't way more than an ounce or so....this thing clocks in at some nice weight and really makes shifting a pleasure. I am very happy with this purchase!
