I just got my summer wheel today and I was unable not to test fit them.
Close out wheels from Tire Rack .
MSW 15"X6.5" 42 ET and with some Nitto NeoGen 205/50R15 bought at Tire Discount Direct.

1st picture is no spacer front and no spacer rear.

This one I've added about +10mm washers on the back to see what it looks.
( I do this only for looks by the way ) and I think I like it better but on some angle it's not the best look.

I took some measurement and if I'm not mistaking there is about 20mm width difference between the front and rear "hub to hub" outside so with a +10 I'm cutting this in half and I don't have aggressive driving so no need to roll the rear fenders .

I have Tanabe DF210 up front 1.5" & some innexpensive eBay coil springs on the back so the drop is moderate .

I have to make up my mind on Spacer or not.

I'll try to post some different angle shots tonight.

I like no spacers ....I for one do not like flash look on car ,tire with fender or tire out that is just my opinion. ?.with spacers it just looks out of place.

I agree with you , I may try 5mm just to see.

They are just regular 1/2" Home Depot Style washers , right now I have 4 on each studs and obviously I'm not driving the car anywhere with a setup like that .
I bought them today just to see how it looks with spacers before buying some because I don't know if I will like it neither how thick I want them if I ever go that way.

Must say cool way of finding out proper fit...I would say maybe 5mm in rear...im 42 offset too with my new summer wheels on a 07 yaris looks just fine ya maybe less offset in the rear would be cool..but im fine with it also dont like what spcers do to wheel bearings.

Wheels and tyres look great! (I replaced the original Bridgestones with Nitto Neo Gens; handling was outstanding, but highway wander was terrible). I like the no spacer photos best.

Did you have a rear sway bar? I have been running 16" 205 Neo Gens on my TTE wheels for the past two years and they have been excellent with no highway wander from them. My only complaint is that they are pretty noisy.

I love the NeoGen , I never had that feeling on my car ( Hwy Wander ) but never had those on a Echo either .

I've been using the NeoGen up front on my cars for the past 10 years .
I had some on a 1989 Mazda and on a 2000 Mustang GT and always love them but I don't do any agressive drive or lapping , etc.

Rear TRD anti-sway bar improved stability and showed some decrease in highway wander. But, the right tread pattern completely eliminated highway wander without a rear anti-sway bar.

2nd test :

My guess was 4 washers = 10mm and I was right on.

so I'm cutting it in half and I'm right at 5mm .

This is going to be it. I have ordered 2 X 5mm spacer.
I like it better.

Front looking to the rear

I'm not even close to put those wheels on , I'm on winter mode for at least 2 more months , it will give plenty of time for my spacers to arrive.

By default, the Echo's more "tucked in" the rear than it is in the front... but that's because the rear has zero camber gain and rubs a bit more with the same wheel/tire package I've found.

I like the look of the 10mm spacers, but you'll probably rub with a 205 tire....

Should have gone 195 55 r 15 and with the 10mm and it would prob not rub. It still looks good with the tires on it and the 10mm.

Post up where you are gonna get spacers from , I know i might need a set also for my Schmidt wheels im doing on my echo hatch.

I bought some inexpensive eBay billet HubCentric Wheel Spacers 4x100mm 0.20" ( 5mm ) 54.1mm bore that I paid $19.99 a pair free shipping to Florida , they came in a while back but I live in Montreal and should go down to Florida next month to pick up all kind of stuff I'm having shipped there.

Went down there last fall brought some stuff back and I'll do the same again next month.

I also bought some camber bolts because I think I may be in need of some positive camber a little but I'll find out this spring. I'll put them in anyway.
