How much did your rims cost?

Just curios to get an average of what you guys spent on rims + installation.

tirerack.com and tiresdirect.com (discount tire) has about the best prices for real, non-knockoff wheels. and if you go to sears or NTB they will actually pricematch to the online stores. if they say they dont, come back later when that manager or salesman isnt there and they likely will...and shipping will be free. they carry all high end tires and wheels at sears and can get yoko, bridgestone/firestone, BFG, continental, fuzion (which is one of my favorite tires for the price), and plenty of other good tires.

they can get just about any name brand wheel from american eagle, eagle alloy, oz, and they can even order customs from places like ROH or ADR.

just be sure and bring a printout with a model number or name and they'll hook u up.

My wheels were $356 shipped (15x6.5 Konig Heliums), tires were around the same. I had a friend mount the tires to the wheels, and I mounted the wheels to the car myself. In all around $700ish for everything.

Since this was the very first mod I did, I just went to a Big-O-Tires store and had them take care of everything. ICW Racing Adrenaline black with machined lip 16x7 + Kuhmo Ecsta tires, installed and balanced - $1,000.

See thing about finding wheels from a scrap yard is that you don't know if they're bent or damaged. That's what deterred me :S

$2200 for the wheels, Volk CE28n's. 6.5 lbs each
$250 For the tires, Yokohama i don't even remembers, lol. 17lbs each.

Prolly $100 or so for mounting and balancing at the toyota dealership.

But 100% unique.
