If I put new rims and tires, how does the Tire Pressure Sensor work with it? Is it something automatic that the car learns?

I was wondering the same thing. I have been told that most tire places will not remove the TPS from the old rim and install it into the new rim. Most people I know with new rims drive around with the TPS warning light on. Qmobile did get his TPS units reinstalled but he was related to the installer.

Free. 17" rims came from a friend that I did some house work for. Tires and sensors were free too. Did some detail work on his Lexus and his Ram truck. He works for a local dealership.

If I had to give what it would have cost......$800 for rims alone. $360 for tires and a little bit more for the TPMS sensors and mounting.
