Code P0171

This code pops up now and says its a System too lean bank 1. It started throwing this code right after i put that inline husky air compressor filter on the hose that comes off the valve cover. Is this my problem or is it the up stream 02 sensor?

I've heard the hose run to the filter may be compressing under vacuum...what kind of hose are you using?

im using the stock hose. Just cut enough out to install the filter. I know at idle it runs rough real rough. When you clear the code it will stay out for about 25 miles then come on again. I just wondered if it was the filter setup or not. I gutted mine. Took the filter inside the bowl out and used the rite stuff on the bottom drain valve cause it was leaking bad. Maybe that drain bowl is still leaking? Seems like everything else is good. I wouldn't think it would colapse the stock hose but could be possible

I wouldn't think the stock hose would be the issue either...

Is the filter on in the right direction? (I had to ask) If you remove the unit completely, do you have the same problem?
