If you have power windows, you can roll them up or down AFTER you've turned the car off.

You can start the car by just moving the key to the starter position and releasing it before the engine actually starts running. No need to hold the key in the starter until the engine starts anymore.

DFA, those are my two favorite things that I was just about to post.

I got into my dads '05 Tacoma and flicked the key thinking it would start up right away, and nothing happened. hahaha Took me a second to figure out.

Ahhh, I remember one now. If you put the rear seats alllllll the way foward in the liftback, and fold them down, they will go COMPLETELY flat. Then you do that flippy thing on the rear flooring and you have a totally flat surface to load things.

Yay me!

Ooooo my favorite one! The rear wiper DIY! I hope that was pre-hack... (maybe the new hip term to use around here?)

You simply pop the shroud off the rear wiper at the base, cut the little nub of plastic off, and put it back on. Voila! Now your rear wiper can be pulled all the way back and stay back for easy cleaning.

Must be an american thing... I've never had any problems with pulling my wiper back to clean the hatch window...

It is an American thing. You shoulda seen the thread about it. People were talking about buying Japanese wiper setups, etc. Then someone finally posted that all you need to do is cut this one nub of plastic off from the inside of the wiper shroud. Why do American Yarii have it? I have no idea....

we have that stupid dealy called the drive-thru car-wash...I think it was finally factualized that the nub is to keep the wiper arm from lifting off the glass far enough to recoil.

Ahhh, I see. Carwashes are bad though, evil evil places... lol

How about this one -- did you know you can have the timing on your interior lights changed by the dealer? Something like 5, 15, or 30 seconds I believe (my memory sucks).

Also, my friend told me this one. When you fold the seats down flat, make sure you put a towel or something down. I guess the fabric on the rear of the fold down seats is sort of fragile.

If your lights are on, you pull back the brights slightly, you can get both your brights and headlights runnning at the same time.

That only works for 30 seconds after the key is turned off.

Without turning the car on, apparently you can shift into reverse and start rolling. There was a thread about it I believe.

I don't fully understand how the flaps on the trunk cover of the LB flip out to cover the gap, can someone explain it to me please? When I flip them out, they are not completely flat and flush with the seat, they kind of rest angled up a bit.
