Hey everyone,

Something's come up so this GB is on hold, until I can get a couple things cleared up. Thanks for everyone's interest, & I'll keep everyone updated if things change.

I took a look around their site and found stuff like:

Weight comparisons between OEM and NST pulleys

Honda Civic
OEM Crank 74oz NST 24oz
OEM Alternator 08oz NST 03oz
OEM Water Pump 22oz NST 08oz

Scion tC
OEM Crank 59oz NST 14oz
OEM Alternator 10oz NST 03oz
OEM Water Pump 14oz NST 06oz

Nissan 350Z
OEM Crank 100oz NST 23oz
OEM Alternator 08oz NST 03oz
OEM Water Pump 15oz NST 12oz

These numbers are all about 70% lighter than the OEM numbers.
Are you suggesting that these are false claims and that their pulley numbers are false fabrications?

I actually had the chance to talk to Mike from NST today for a bit about the part and what their pulleys do and are capable of. Pretty cool stuff... their products have worked wonders for Scion tC's, Acura TSX's, and they're even working on fitting a pulley kit into a Lotus Elise. Expected gains on the 1NZ-FE are mild, but the increased engine response you'll see from a pulley will help out a bit with that straight line speed issue. What is also nice is that if we can convince some companies to develop some other engine components, NST will likely continue to deliver the right pulley for the job. The tC community now has something like 11 pulley options from NST alone. Lets all hope we have a new supporting vendor soon!

Extremely cool link with some extremely encouraging numbers.
