The CAI was on back-order from injen and they were not giving an ETA, Either way response was slow on order inquiry. Even if it was just to say it was back-ordered no ETA at this time. I got an email from Brice Douai of Fluid Motorsports, they are waiting on the supplier, injen for the status on their order. Progress at least.

Micro Image forums, online store and shop are now closed. It was a great eight year run, but it was time to focus on other things. I'm still selling parts on eBay under micro*image seller ID and customers can still make requests for anything specific. |

I have received my order from them yesterday, it just took a while for them to respond back.
It turns out that it was on back-order and injen was not giving them any information either. They are a small business also. It took just a few days short of a month to get the order, a long and painful wait. After installing the injen CAI, it was well worth the wait. The deep throaty sound from the car under acceleration is incredible! The rpm response is noticeably quicker. I can post sound clips in a new thread later. |

Just wanted to say that I'm the admin of the site, and run a software development company (Makoto Inc., which is a home based business) that runs the Fluid site.
The registrant information is for me and my company who handles the website and maintenance. Fluid Motorsports is handled at a different address. I work with Brice and he's very pleasant to work with and I've heard a lot of great things about him from other customers. Sometimes it can be slow for Fluid to get parts out since we don't stock everything locally and have to wait for the vendors. We do have a limited number of items on hand, which reduces our costs of having a large warehouse and insuring all the inventory, and we can pass on the savings to the customer. I do have several interests and hobbies and hope that doesn't make me less qualified to run a business.
