I have a New Yaris Sedan 2007.
The stock has 16 valve lifter. Like that; these were removed and not installing them. Each Valve Lifter has a number. ( 34,36,38,41,42 ) after install ,It sounds a harmonized and tac tac tac, is the valve. As I can know the position of each Valve Lifter. Thank you. |

The lifters are available from Toyota in 35 sizes ranging from 5.060 to 5.740 mm.
Look at the "Engine Mechanical" section of the service manual in the link below and start around page EM-13 for information on how to determine the correct lifter thickness for each valve: http://www.microimageonline.com/foru...32-YARIS-FILES

The valves are sized differently depending on the clearance in each lifter "pocket" in the cylinder head. This is how the valve lash is changed/adjusted.
You need to fit the correct sized lifter into the pocket. The numbers on the lifters do not tell the order or sequence that they need to be installed, only the size. You need to measure each lifter and put it into the correct pocket.

Maybe we could get someone who speaks Spanish to help?
Did you measure the valve clearances before removing the lifters? If not, you will have to try different combinations to get the right valve clearance: Quote:
