Ditch the plate and just mount the switch and led. The plate looks like it came off of a Radio Shack walkie talkie

You know, after seeing your thread on installing the Blitz compressor, I started looking around for places to put it. Inside the driver's side glove box looked pretty appealing to me.

That would be a good place but I'm still contemplating putting some gauges on the driver's glove compartment door like Garm did.

Also, I don't know yet whether it has to be in a place where I have to reach easily while driving. You know, when the bad guys are about to catch up to me, I need to activate the S/C and rocket to safety.

I'm leaning towards where Camell put it. I just need to find the DYI on how to remove the center console panels. That's all I need right now, tearing apart more of the little car.

So it's safe for the compressor to change boost levels while the engine's going (aside from idling)? I'm debating quite hard whether or not to get the compressor. I commented on the wiring in the other thread you're doing. Makes me leery.

as a reminder, this switch is not to set the amount of boost, but rather the point at which the compressor kicks in. Owners of the kit can confirm this, but low means you only need 10% throttle, mid means about 50% and hi 75%, or something like that. A bit counter-intuitive I guess!

Yes, I commented to Garm on Friday that the switch should say NEVER, ALL THE TIME, SOMETIMES, RARELY.

lol, I knew it didn't mean boost, I just couldn't think of a more appropriate word at the time.

Hey guys! I finally got around to mounting my switch yesterday... it had just been loose under my dash for the last 2 months! Check it out... what do you think... the ULTIMATE stealth mount!

(I had originally wanted to mount it facing up, but would've required some fancy craftiness to make a back plate and glue it in there and drill holes and etc... maybe someone else will get inspired...?)

Mike, I groaned when I read your description of the double wall cutting and drilling.

Aaron...
