Paris at 140mph

Found this link on scionlife board.

"On an August morning in 1978, French filmmaker Claude Lelouch mounted a gyro-stabilized camera to the bumper of a Ferrari 275 GTB and had a friend, a professional Formula 1 racer, drive at breakneck speed through the heart of Paris."

Make sure you've got your headphones on or your speakers cranked because that Ferrari is music to the ears. Enjoy!

They are all crazy.

i really don't appreciate this movie at all,
what is so great about putting other people's lives at risk?

and to top it off, the ending is cheesy, he had to drive like a maniac so he could pick up his girlfriend? (at 5:00 a.m.?)
totally retarded

Well that's the whole point isn't it? Why is he driving like this?

Did he just knock over a bank?

Is he rushing to stop some horrible event from happening?

Oh, he has to meet his mistress, which is something everyone can relate to.

I think it's brilliant.

sorry blackie jdm,

i had no idea there was a plot to the film until the end (that might be the only brilliant aspect), i thought it was just some jackass putting other's lives at risk so he can have fun,

i almost started laughing when i saw the woman running towards the car,

brilliantly cheesy, for sure.

No need to apologize!

Really it just goes to show that woman are evil.

If she was more understanding he wouldn't have to be in such a rush for fear of being late.

That was the basis for that Nissan Z video they made like 1-2 years ago. The Z was in Prague though, and they had to shut the city down for that run.

Except all this is wrong, the car wasn't a Ferrari 275 GTB but a Mercedes 450 SEL 6.9 and the pilot of F1 was Claude Lelouch himself

The bike vid is ridiculous... zipping in and out between cars... and it looks like its filmed at the start of morning rush hour...
