Heh, always enjoyed his music on the radio. My cousin, who is a music nut, went to see DMB in concert and hated it. Said the guy was so stoned he couldn't get through a single song without stopping and rambling.

I saw Dave once. He put on a good show, but now its 6 years later and if I hear "Jimmy Thing" one more time I'm going to grab my knife and go acuttin'. Have fun though!

I live about 30 minutes away from Charlottesville, VA where DM spent a considerable amount of time bar tending. When he had a a few shows in C'Ville a few years ago they didn't sale many tickets at all. He had a better following as a bar tender?

yeah, something amazing about a drummer who can sing, drum, and chew bubble gum all night is pretty amazing. Last concert i went to, wasn't very good. When ONE song last for over 45 minutes and everyone has soloed twice, it does start to get old. Still love the music, but doubt I will go to another concert.
