Arrow ►►►TEIN Lower Springs - Yaris HB 2008

Of all the changes I've made to the car this is one of the ones that I liked the most. The handling improvement is amazing...

Hi, I'm looking at upgrading my stock suspension but don't want to drop the car too much. How low is the drop with those springs? Do you still like them after a couple of months? I also have the TRD rear sway bar...

The S.Tech's offer more of an aggressive drop, so if that's what you want to avoid, I'd say look elsewhere, like the Tanabe NF (not the DF) springs or the TRD/Eibach springs.

tein also offers other kits/springs if you want that brand. Flex Z is only a 1.4 inch drop. also the Street Advance Z 1.4 inch is available. both are adjustable. Flex Z range: F -0.0 to -2.8 inches, R -0.9 to -2.4 inches. SA Z range: F -0.7 to -2.2 inches, R -0.9 to -2.4 inches

I would like to go with springs only but my (new to me) Yaris has 170k and I think it's still on its original suspensions so upgrading both I would be better off getting coilovers instead.

Hello dude, I can only tell you that I still satisfied with this lowers. The drop is exactly 2 inch at the front and rear.
I recommend them 100%.

After some research... I'm looking at ordering a set of H&R Sport Springs (29126) drop 1.4/1.3 paired with Bilstein B8 shocks and struts. Anyone here have tried the H&R sport springs? I can't find any rates/specs online on them. I have seen lots of good comments for H&R springs for other car models... I also have a TRD swaybar if that is something that i have to consider when buying a new suspension...

Is this setup an overkill/too stiff for a daily driver? This is the first car I do mods on and I have no real experience in that field... I might try autox for first time next summer :)

I was just speaking in financial terms. The cost of new shocks/springs is about the same as basic coils like Tein Advanced Z.
