Maintence Items Not In The Owners Manual

Spray each wheel with lube where indicated in the photo maybe once a year to prevent it from seizing to the hub. Maybe more often in Canada!

A permanent solution is to just apply anti seize or grease on the hub. My car is an 05 and I've never had a wheel stick to the hub, or brake rotor.

Good idea. Ive had them stick and kicking the tire while its on the supplied jack during a roadside emergency to get it off was scary! I ll use sntiseize if I ever have any of the wheels off. Im old and getting the wheels off is an adventure!

I don't seem to have issues with mine the past 2 years.

But anti seize does the trick if it sticks.

Maybe a Canadian thing. I do that to mine too, just to keep the rust off. Actually, I spray the whole steel wheel (my winter ones) a few times a season and they still look new after many Canadian winters.

I should've done that. Mine are rusty after eight years and I live in New Jersey!

Every year when I switch back to my winter tires, I wire brush and add never seize.
I hate stuck wheels. Michigan winters are not fun especially with salt.
