Having brake issues

Having issues with the brake pressure in my 2007 yaris sedan. When I first start up the car I have no brake pressure and can't stop. Once i get going down the road a bit the brakes work perfect again. Seems to only happen for a few seconds after start up and driving. Anyone have an idea what could my problem be?

Nope I loose break pressure (and car can't stop) for a few seconds on a cold start of the car. After driving for a few seconds it seems fine again

I guess you can look for wet spots anywhere. My guess would be the master cylinder is bypassing.

Is the brake pedal hard, or you push and it goes to the floor?

Then your master cylinder must have issue IMO.

Pull hand brake if you are not getting brake response...

IMO you shouldn't have driven your car when you knew you had brake problems.

Brake fluid should be changed after a while AFAIK.

No you don't, or you find another way to get to work and not put others or yourself in danger.

Garage. Check master cylinder. Told you already.

Alright guys enough with the arguing haha I'm just wondering why my cars brake pressure was temporarily lost for a few seconds. On a side note it was fine today never had any trouble at all. This is a weird problem

OP will get better advice here if e answers this question. (A pedal on the floor or a high pedal w/ failed boost will both reduce "brake pressure," but would likely have different causes.)

High brake is likely failed vacuum, but a pedal to the floor is either air in system or master cylinder.

Now, op already checked for brake line leak, and bled. Provided he did good/proper maintenance, all I can think of is the master cylinder having issues.

Eitherway, OP said his pedal went to the floor, I did suggest it was the master cylinder, stop driving the car as it is very dangerous. But well, looks like I know nothing, so I'll just let OP drive his car around trying to kill some innocent people

Please note that there are two individuals with brake issues contributing to this thread.

The OP did not make the statements you are referencing.
