Not sure what you mean here? How do you "bake" the lights?

This is an old DIY i did on my echo ...
http://www.oztoyota.com/technical/diy/bakedlights/
basially u paint the inside of the lights BLACK (or whatever colour your want).

The term BAKED is used, cos most people put the headlights in an oven on BAKE to get the headlights apart to paint them :)

nice write up.

I've seen it done on other cars & some look good, & others don't, so we'll see if I do it or not, but back to the "I gotta get the car first" issue. LOL

Nice car!!! Love the pics on your site!!!

I like the look. I've seen it before, but I didn't realize what it was called. Very nice.

Depends on the car .... and the type of headlight assembly ... in some cases it cheapens the look fo the car .... and if you are looking for JDM styling, baking them is the first way to ruin that 'just out of the factory' JDM look :P

It is the way the cars should come from the factory.

The jury's still out on this one for me. I'll have to see one before I run out and do it. I like the look, but I'm not so sure it would be good on the colour I have, the "Tuscan Sunset". (I know that's not what it's called in Canada, but I like the name better than Orange metalic mica or whatever it's called again.)

(Copper orange mica?)

I agree with Celica Girl...I think it look Sh*t Hot but I don't think I have the balls to put my lights in the oven etc... Once someone does it to their Yaris I'll think about it.

Wouldn't it be cool to have the background plastic of the lights body colored instead of the icky color they are now?
