Prongs on block heater

Previous owner obviously did not care about the three prongs you would plug into an outlet to keep the engine/battery warm. They drove with it out, scrapping against the ground. The prongs are definetly some for. Is there a way I can cut the end off, and put in new prongs?

You can pr0bably buy a generic Male end from a hardware store and splice it in to the existing wiring

I've never seen a plug with replaceable prongs, but some plugs are made such that one possibly could replace the prongs.
