Crankshaft Sleeves
Made a tiny boo boo on crankshaft removing rear main seal. Does anyone have experience with speedi sleeve or similar product and can share pointers? I think I will purchase the Timken sleeve https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...=10524&jsn=442 and the Timken rear main seal.

the seal on rockAuto is for the front of the engine. I cant seem to find rear crankshaft sleeves anywhere for the 1nzfe, which is weird because Ive read they are known to leak there in high mileage.

car was closed up without sleeve. I sanded the gash down, which seemed to be outside of the sealing surface of the rear main seal anyway. No leaks yet.
