2012-13 Side moldings?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/TOYOTA-YARIS...928c91&vxp=mtr

Good idea? I was considering doing this on mine.
I'm always worried someone is going to open their door and whack it!

I have found that the side mouldings are almost always in the wrong place to prevent other people from wacking your door.

My mom is (well, was) at teacher and even the teacher's in the teacher's parking lot would bang up her car. it was really crazy. She waited until she retired to buy a good car. she got a camry (2012) when she retired. She used to have a malibu and you could see up and down her door where people had popped her.

I personally like the cleaner look of no side mouldings too.

Darn. It's just an idea I'm passing around in my head.
I'm going to get a second opinion from some people who have them.

I'm still thinking. ^^.

This x 1,000,000.

From observation the side mouldings have always been a design element, and because of this is always at the part where it sheetmetal goes inward rather than where it protrudes (or where it is A LOT more likely to hit or get hit)
