Tanabe Medallion Touring Exhaust

Planning on getting an exhaust for my Yaris. I'm interested in the Tanabe Medallion Touring Exhaust but i'm worried that it sits a little low. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ROeri4U66ic this guy had it set up like this. Has anyone else have it set up like that and does it scrape the road a lot? Thanks Everyone.

If it sits low buy some shorter exhaust hangers

No scraping issues with mine, lowered 1.5" on Megan springs. It really dosen't hang much lower than the stock pumpkin. Also, there is not a lot of room to raise it with shorter hangers. The tip sits pretty close to the bumper on stock hangers.

I don't know what you mean by this. There is only one way to install it. You cannot rotate it so that the can lies in a horizontal position. Is that what you mean?

Ugh. I wouldn't rev my engine like that when it's cold...

To respond to OP, I think the muffler just looks low because of the angle from which the video is being recorded. The tip of the Tanabe is not that much lower than the stock muffler's tip and only because it is a 4" tip. You can't see the bumper in the video but the tip is right up next to the bumper's bottom.

Sorry to revive an old thread, but has anybody been slammed with this exhaust and experienced scraping"? I am talking about 16 inch wheels sitting flush with the fender low.

I'm not "slammed" but I have this exhaust with TEIN's stech that gives me a 2 inch drop and I have scraped it but it's not as bad as you may think, it's been like two or three times and it happened because I quickly accelerated after going through a speed bump and the rear of the car was still going trough the speed bump, so the suspension had to travel more thus causing the exhaust to mildly scrape with the speed bump. Hope that makes sense

Are you still using the OEM exhaust header? After I installed my weapon r header, my Tanabe Touring is sitting higher/closer to the rear bumper than before. That should also help with scraping.
