eBay Projector Headlights...
My stock lights are already clouding up due to the intense sunshine we get here in south-central Texas, and I think the projectors look pretty sweet. Are any of the ones on eBay any good?
I am considering a set, but recall the horror stories of them not being properly sealed or other problems. Is anyone on there selling some that are decent? Is the light output close to the stock units? Firsthand experiences and recommendations would be appreciated! Cheers! M2

Well assuming they're all the same ones you're talking about (the ones that use H1 bulbs), mine haven't leaked yet. The clear finish on them is doing good so far. I've only had them for a few months though.
Also, it rains a LOT where I live. So the fact they haven't yet leaked is a good sign. |

In Hb is easy to do... in the sedan is a little more difficult because you need to trim the reflector housing for the projector can fit.

I saw somewhere in this forum that you have to bake the headlight to dismantle them.. if this is true... my eyelids for sure will get wrecked since I put 3M clear plastic on them also

Eyelids are pretty easy to remove. Just get a hair drying and warm up the adhesive and then geta razor blade and very carefully lift the adhesive.

To the OP, you can dehaze your headlights using Plast-X. Then just keep waxing them when ever you wash your car. That should clean it up and prevent it from hazing over.
Or if you get new headlights, just wax them periodically. lol. |

After you clean the haze I would recommend getting them sprayed with an automotive clear that has UV protection. This will prevent them from getting hazed again
