I think number one is on the driver side, and number four is on the passenger side. 304 means switch the coil with any other one let’s say Number one period start the engine know if you get a 301 code you know that coil was bad and you need a new coil

Good luck and tell us what happens!

^ backwards. Standing in front of the vehicle looking into the engine bay, #1 is on your left, #4 on your right.

I removed coil 3 and 4 from their cables and from the spark plugs. Then switch them, now coil 4 is in the slot 3 and connected to able 3, and coil 3 is slot 4 and on cable 4.

Its been 2 day error light went away, there is no more error code.

Right now this is what I call a hiccup. Main reason why most times I get a code, I do nothing but clear it and wait to see if I get a reoccurring error. If yes, then I take action.

Hopefully it stays that way. But if it doesn’t, now you know which is number one and number four. And you can just do the switcheroo again if the error code sticks.
