I want to change my brakes
Hi Yaris World!
I want to change my brake pads, rotors, drums and shoes. I live in Vancouver, Canada and have a Yaris 2006 2 doors. I've been able to find the whole kit for the 2007 Yaris that I really like at Rock Auto, but the same kit isn't available for the 2006 model. I think that the 2006 and 2007 brake system is the same, but I'm not sure and I'd like to ask here to see if anyone can confirm. I've looked at rotors and drums for the 2006 and 2007 model and to my ignorant eyes they look the same. I'd appreciate any help I can get. |

2006 and 2007 are identical. I don't know how many times I've stated on this site that most American parts suppliers do not recognize 2006 because they did not get the Yaris until model year 2007.

The 2006 issue is the reason why I always search for parts using 2007.

i have an 07 canadian 5dr and again have the same issue since the states didnt get the 5drs till 09?..so i have to have parts looked up as an 07 3dr or a 09 5dr
if you like rock thats cool, ive been buying rotors for my rigs from these guys for decades now, and aside from not always liking the supplyed pads..the rotors have been VERY good to me even on track cars...its actualy neerly impossible to find "aftermarket rotors for my alfa alfetta and gtv6 yet these guys have em...and they WORK VERY WELL!!!! https://brakeperformance.com/ |
