Increasing Horsepower: What Should I Add To My Yaris?

I have an 07 Yaris 5speed and was wondering what I could add to it to increase the HP. I've heard iridium spark plugs and better intakes and stuff but has anyone made any mods on theirs to increase HP? If you know of anything that has helped you let me know. Thanks!

And whether or not I get flamed for saying it -- use the search feature first, there is a wealth of knowledge already on here that will answer your question completely, starting with the "Performance Primer".

I never had a problem with the stock spark plugs, street and track. Someone would have to dyno test one brand/type against another to prove to me that there's a difference in power output.

intake, dc header, an exhaust thats more than just an axleback (ie from the resonator back)

with just an intake and res-back exhaust i pulled 106whp/107wtq on a dyno

nst lightweight or underdrive crank pullies are nice too

Here are the things that made my car "feel" a whole lot better.
1. NST pulleys (very nice throttle response difference)
2. DCSport header (helped smooth out the power across the band and much nicer at the high end)
3. Modified air-box (most people do cold air intakes, I like to cut stuff, so I modded the box and used a K&N stock sized filter. This gave me +2mpg and a bit more low end power)
4. Believe it or not, setting up a second ground from the battery to the ECU seemed to really smooth things out all through the mid-high rpm range.

Have fun with your upgrades!!
