Please Note Result varies from car to car, engine to engine.

the car

the Power BHP

the Torque Nm

Thick solid Blue / Green is after tuning
Dotted Blue / Green is before

The test car is a Auto Vios,
Parts on the car:
1) Speed-d 4-1
2) HKS Hi-Power Muffler
3) Unichip Q
4) SS drop in Filter ( Stock Airbox)
5) CAI

Condition of car:
1) Mobil One EO 5000Km old
2) Denso Iridium spark plug (Not New)
3) 92 Fuel ( Last minute try our best to mix with 98 Fuel)

I was happy with 141bhp on crank for a Auto Vios. i expect more for MT vios.

Dyno is Dynopack TCF is set at 1.2 for auto

Looks like a gain of about 14 hp and 20 torque, yes?

I don't think a stock ECU could handle this mod, you'd have to tune the car with management like this Vios was.

would you say these cams are tunable for boost? if i got these cams and then later boosted on top of them, could i tune it also? or is the lift and dur on these cams specific to N/A tunes?

I seem to recall the early posts about Jun cams listing three different sets of specs, with this one being the most mild. My math, and memory, may be a bit fuzzy... But I come up with this as a .354 lift, that is not much more than stock.

This is what is listed on the Jun website.
63 (252) 9.0 9.0 IN IN 1004M-T031 1004M-T031 JPY42,000 JPY42, 000 Can use with stock ECU Can use with stock ECU
EX EX 1004M-T131 1004M-T131 JPY42,000 JPY42, 000

* * The amout of lifts shows the cam lift. * The amout of lifts shows the cam lift.

Here is the data I got when I considered stocking these:

1. 256 duration, 9.0mm lift (Street)
2. 272 duration, 9.5mm lift (NA)
3. 272 duration, 10.5mm lift (Turbo)

i dont do turbo car so i am not sure. this is what i request from JUN, the 3 spec mention

1. 256 duration, 9.0mm lift (Street)
2. 272 duration, 9.5mm lift (NA)
3. 272 duration, 10.5mm lift (Turbo)

also avaliable.

this one i install is 264dur 9.5mm valve lift.
i want a bolt-on thus i am not going for anything wild. stock lift is 9mm

Stock ECU can run the cams, but advise to add tuning to max on the result.

AFR i am running 13.3 for NA

note i am just sharing...not selling... too far haha

^ They say so, but do you want to pay $1700 to find out if you get a CEL or not?

I haven't seen an example where they just bolt on the cams, go drive the car hard, and show that the stock ECU has no problem with that.

Trust me, I want it to be true as much as anyone.
