Yaris in travel gear...
Just got back from Pigeon Forge, TN. My wife said there was no way we'd fit everything into the Yaris, so of course I had to prove her wrong! Here's a picture of the Yaris in it's travel gear. Used less than 1 tank of gas from Ohio to Pigeon Forge, TN. The car made it through the mountains hauling 2 adults, 2 kids, and a weeks worth of clothes, some snacks, camera, and laptop bags. Averaged almost 37 mpg with a car load of people, 75 miles of mountain roads, and stop and go traffic and 80 mph on the freeway!

wicked I love proving people wrong about what you can fit in a Yaris. What roof rack?

The rack is a Thule rack with the square bars, a Thule wind deflector (a must IMO, rack is loud without it) and a Thule Quest bag (13 cubic feet). The bag housed 3 large and 1 extra large space saver bags that you sucked the air out of with a vacuum. Also contained several pairs of shoes! With room to spare. It actually worked out quite flawlessly. I couldn't have been more happy with the setup.
