THANK YOU MIKE and THANK YOU NST! Lilredrocket's said it first and said it best. This was a great day. Thank you to all the NST drivers out there that put in a long day of shredding tires and hauling tourists. This is the first large (by my limited experience) car show that I've been to and it was nice. Some of those Scion folks had some really nice rides out there but it was still nice to have our cars over in the shady spot where we could relax and laugh at huge Cadillac's with long horn hood ornaments and hydraulics. But, to each their own so... And who was that masked man in the red lift back with his e-brake? Someone needs to sign him up for NST or give him a contract to repave that parking lot. These are some really good pictures. Thanks for posting them TexKid, it was good to meet you and the others there. It was fun to meet the other Yaris drivers from the Houston area and chat with them. We definitely need to do that again. I'm definitely up for another trip down when the next NST event rolls around. And I feel for you with the lack of sleep there. I only managed 6 myself but at least the drive to work was easy since everyone else was in bed. And somehow I wound up with a tennis ball in the back of my car. Gee, I wonder who put that there? Oh well, it gives me something to throw at Hummers when I pass them at the gas pump. Again, thank you Mike and thank you NST! S.R. |

You guys look like your havin fun! Let's get to an Auocross! I'll be in touch on that.
Sorry I had to leave early, I'm old. Next time we'll have to ask Mike to set up a Yaris AX demo. I think the little cars could impress some folks. Jeff and Nick, good effort getting us to drive down there. Fun little train we had for awhile too! You NST guys must own a tire factory! And woa to the poor soul driving on the street during a drifting run, the rock bullets were flyin! Holly crap! Sure made for a good show though! Next Yaris Yak? Maybe I could create a flyer to post around DFW area? I'll be at; Mineral Wells AX on the 5th, and the Porsche Club TT at MotorSport Ranch in Cresson on the 14th. Nick, the Cresson event is pretty close to you. No fee for spectating I think? Mike, I'll get you some info on the AX and other events in the DFW area. |

How about June 13th or 14th for the next DFW Yaris Yak?

What about my house? Self serving to a degree, but will be putting on new R1 Drilled slotted rotors from Garm by then getting ready for the TT on the 14th. We can all learn about the process at the same time. Gooto order them first though, waiting for next check...

Hello everyone. I was referred to this site by one of your members I met at the Scion Expo. I am with Tunerlifestyletv.com. I thought I would post video coverage of the event.

Hey everyone!
Thank you for the kind words, I certainly do appreciate them. I had a VERY BUSY day with everything going on... I met a lot of new faces and really enjoyed meeting the Yaris owners who came out to join us. I'm really glad you guys were able to come out, and that you enjoyed yourselves. We have a very busy summer coming up and will be doing more events soon, so I hope to see a lot of you again over the next few months. Stay tuned everyone! |

The next question is, does the picture say so many more things about me than my Yaris does?

I don't know about that. You and your "Off Road" curb hoping Yaris while flailing arms makes a hugh statment that words can't describe. You also went into a biker bar to find the person that owned a yaris out front. Haha. That was classic!
