This is one of those "You have to jump ALL the way off the bridge" mods -- hope more Yaris'ers will go for it.

since NST isn't currently making a flywheel what is the best option right now? why so much of a price difference between these 3? anyone know which one is the best in terms of performance and why?

I changed to a light weight flywheel in several cars. In my last VQ35 Nissan engine, it would rev up much faster and the car felt much faster. It kind of feels the same as a light weight crank pulley only better. It made first gear launches hard without crazy wheel spin, and at the race track. While I could swear it felt much faster, I lost one tenth in the quarter mile. I think it was faster in each gear, but I would loose when I had to shift. If your road racing it is much better for gaining revs comming out of corners etc, but on the drag strip not having the mass of the flywheel will slow you down. Buyers beware!

you could do it yourself with:

jackstands

a hi-lift hydraulic jack

8mm
10mm
12mm
14mm
a hammer and pry bar

a buddy who can lift 80lbs laying on his back

i've done mine twice, once with help, once without. a little ingenuity will get you a long way on this one, save you some serious coin!

FORUM iS OLD but I have been thinking about for months about NST Crank Pullys + MI Ultralight Flywheel combo to install at the same time with my DC Headers, other than these two mods that will increase horsepower + throttle response has anyone gone any further?

Try a throttle controller and a 1ZZ TB. They both increase throttle response perceptively.

crank pulley set, lightweight flywheel and racing clutch, and lightweight wheels. Good setup. An Intake helps too.

what are you looking for? and what type of further are you talking about?
