Performance Chip or Rip off???
Hey guys im a new yaris owner. Unfortunately my car is already in the shop but anyways i was wonderin if any of u guys got a performance chip from ebay that "add up to 36 HP". Obviously its not gonna give ya 36 hp but i was wonderin if its worth the 8 bucks or will it just mess up my engine? Any info on that would greatly be appreciated...

it does nothing for your car but cause the engine to probably overheat more then it has to ;) |

ya might add a couple of hp for a short period of time after what... you might blow up your engine or anything great ... lol
it just block the motherboard to react to certain change, its only a transistor (i think) the electronic stuff that block a signal...

Just read the sellers feedback LOL..
"didn't recieve a modual but i did recieve a tiny resistor not worth $9 maybe 5c" "what you sold was a 33K ohm resistor not a chip" "$15 with shipping for a 29cent radioshack resistor oh well !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" The way I figure it, the guy has sold > 1000 of these resistors at an average of $15 incl shipping. Product + shipping cost couldn't be more than a dollar, so he's made > $140,000. Holy fark! Crime does pay LOL. |
